How American Homecraft works
Nobody checks our work but the man who can do it.
01
No superintendents
American Homecraft does not hire superintendents to check jobs. The owner checks them. Nothing like your own.
02
Designed in-house
Most of our work is designed and built without an engineer or architect, when the job doesn't need one. When it does, we bring them in.
03
Every job is its own
All our jobs are uniquely designed, built and remodeled by American Homecraft. No catalog of six layouts with your name typed in.
One job, start to finish
A six-foot drop.Three usable levels.
A San Antonio homeowner's builder left them a backyard that fell six feet from the high point to the low point. Unusable. The owner of American Homecraft designed and built a tri-level space out of it, by himself. It's the film at the top of this page.
“Jonathan and his team did a great job. The layout aand work completed were very competitive. We weren't really sure what we wanted to do with our backyard and Johnathan came in, did the work and the yard looks great. We can hang out in our backyard again!”

From first call to finished job.
Four steps, and none of them is “wait three weeks for a quote.”

Call or text
Reach us on (210) 877-4543, Monday to Saturday, 7am to 5pm, or send the form. A person answers, not a phone tree.
- 2
We look at the job
We see the house, measure, and tell you what we would do and what we would not. Sometimes the honest answer is the smaller job.
- 3
A price, in writing
The estimate is free and the price is given before any work starts. If the walls hide a surprise, we show you and agree it before we continue.
- 4
Built and checked by the owner
No superintendent in the middle. The owner who designed it checks it, and the same company answers for it afterwards.
